I write every day of the year.
Some days I can write up to two thousand words. Other days I can only get three hundred fifty. Never less.
But I write. That’s what writers do. If I didn’t, my stories would fade, and characters would not be as clear.
The blog I post on Friday morning begins the Saturday afternoon the week before. I review my previous week’s writing and I plan what I will work on in the upcoming week. These topics and themes become my weekly blog.
I mention this to confirm the simple truth that writing isn’t the result of inspiration or creativity. It’s sitting in a chair and thinking and not getting up. It’s how I get things done.
